Message from the Principal
This school website is intended to introduce you to Igbinedion MontessoriNursery/Primary School, its philosophies, environment, curriculum, structure and range of activities.
We believe that only through direct personal contact with teachers and administrators will you come to understand more completely the way the school works and how your child’s education is developed. We encourage you to become actively involved in the critically important dialogue between parents, teachers and students. For our part we will always try to respond to any concern or question you may have. This website is the summary of many school documents and should enable you to quickly become part of our large and active school community.
Every year our students enter for the Common Entrance Examination for Igbinedion Secondary School and Federal Schools along with students across the country and overseas. Based on their academic performance.
They are given special consideration for admission to Igbinedion Secondary School. Parents are encouraged to register their children from birth in view of the demand for places.
We employ teachers who are highly motivated, who have strong academic qualifications, who will expect all students to fully develop their potential and who will be excellent role models for young people. We are pioneering a unique method of education in Nigeria and we are certain that ‘Our Children’ will march proudly and confidently into the twenty-first century. We hope to make a very individual contribution to education in Nigeria.
There is no substitute for a visit to the school so I hope you will come and discuss your particular concerns with me and meet some of our pupils.
